The Eddie Pitch Open, formerly the Eddie Pitch Championship, is a heartfelt tribute to a man whose legacy continues to inspire both on and off the course. Eddie’s life was defined by kindness, genuine connection with people, and a lifelong love of the great game of golf.
For seven years, Eddie was a proud member of the Canadian PGA. He spent two years at the Brampton Golf Club, two years at the Bayview Golf Club, and competed in tournaments across Canada. Twice, he came within a single stroke of qualifying for the Canadian Open, losing in playoffs both times. After his years in professional golf, Eddie went on to dedicate more than five decades to helping families and businesses through life insurance and estate planning.
The annual tournament celebrates the values Eddie lived by, integrity, generosity, and a lifelong commitment to helping others. Participants honour his legacy by playing the game he loved while raising funds for meaningful causes.
